The Infant and Children’s Resale is a Community event organized by the Greendale Entertainment Association (GEA). Each seller is given a seller number, which is to be placed upon each tag and attached to each item by the seller. Items not clearly marked with the seller number will not be sold and will be donated at the end of the sale if not claimed. It is not GEA’s responsibility to ensure that tags are securely attached to the item or that the seller number is marked on each tag at drop off.
RELEASE
I, the undersigned, am aware that while participating in the Infant and Children’s Resale, items that I bring to sell may be lost, broken, stolen or left behind at pick up and donated. I agree to assume the risk and responsibility and understand that GEA is not responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged or donated items. I further agree to release and forever discharge Greendale Entertainment Association, its officers, directors, representatives and volunteers from any and all claims, demands and actions of whatever kind arising from any and all of the risks associated with such infant and children’s resale.
QUALITY OF MERCHANDISE CLAUSE (NEW)
Each sale we have seen an increase in the number of items that are brought to the sale ripped, stained, dirty or broken. In an effort to keep our reputation to buyers as a high end quality sale, we are implementing a new seller status system. All sellers will start out in green status. If there are items brought to the sale that are of poor quality, if red cardstock is used or if prices are not in 25 cent increments, seller status will be dropped down to yellow. If this continues to the next sale the seller will be in red status and will no longer be allowed to sell. While this change may seem strict it is truly in the seller’s best interest. We want to do everything in our power to keep buyers coming and for buyers to tell all their friends and family what a great sale we have so that seller profits are more successful.
TOY SAFETY RECALL
Selling recalled products is now unlawful. I understand it is my responsibility to ensure the items I am selling have been checked by me and are safe and are not subject to the safety recall. (PDF CPSC safety recall booklet is posted on the GEA website at www.greendaleentertainment.com).
CAR SEATS
GEA can no longer accept car seats that are 6 years or older. For the Spring sale we will not accept any car seats that were made prior to March 2014. If any are dropped off, they will be discarded into a dumpster.
REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT
I understand that as a seller I will receive 70% of the gross total of items sold. I agree to have GEA retain 30% for its services.
I understand that seller checks will be mailed within 30 days of the sale. The proceeds check must be cashed by the seller within 60 days of the date on the check or the check is null and void. I also understand I will not receive my seller tags back.
